Renée Selía is a London based Artist living and working in Hackney, London. 

Renée’s artwork is a balance of abstract and contemporary still life, where the two collide in imperfect harmony creating an effortless ease full of colour and wonder.

Renée has lived close to the renowned Columbia Road Flower Market for many years, and she describes it as a constant playground, presenting ideas and fuelling inspiration towards her pieces. It’s where she will often escape her busy home life, which she shares with her Irish husband and two girls, to admire flowers and pottery. Her aim is to capture perfectly the very real, relatable essence and spirit of her subjects resulting in a playful colour palette that will entice the viewer to see everyday objects in a ‘still and calming way’.
